Hope for the World International — August Update for Our Beloved Supporters
1. Warm Greetings and July–August Highlights
Dear friends and faithful partners,
Grace and peace to you in abundance! We’re deeply grateful for your prayers, compassion, and generous support. As August unfolds, we rejoice in God’s unwavering guidance through both challenges and breakthroughs across our mission fields—especially among our native missionaries, our water‑well initiatives, and our medical outreach.
2. Increased Persecution of Native Missionaries & Our Prayer Needs
Over the past month, our native missionaries in remote regions have faced intensified persecution. In several areas, hostility toward the Gospel has risen sharply—ranging from tension with local authorities to social ostracism and direct threats to their safety and families.

Please join us in praying:
-
For protection—that God shields their bodies, minds, and spirits.
-
For courage and resilience—that despite fear, they continue boldly.
-
For favor among communities—that the love of Christ prevails over suspicion and opposition.
-
For provision—so they’re able to live and serve without fear, with safe places to worship and share the Gospel.
3. Floods, Sickness & Our Medical Teams: Loving Villages Through Healing
As the monsoon season begins, floods have struck many vulnerable regions, causing damage, displacing families, and spreading illness. In response, our medical teams are traveling to remote villages, offering free medical care and expressing the love of Jesus through healing and compassion.

These teams are often the only healthcare providers people will see all year.

How one camp makes a difference:
-
A single medical camp can treat 350–500 people in one day.
-
Patients receive vital services—checkups, medication, diagnosis, and prayer.
-
Many hear the Gospel through compassionate care, often for the first time.
-
Entire villages are touched and transformed—physically and spiritually.
-

You can help bring healing to hundreds:
-
Pray for safety, strength, and effectiveness for our traveling medical teams.
-
Sponsor a medical camp to bring hope to an entire village.
-
Share this vision with others who have a burden for healing and Gospel outreach.

4. Water‑Well Miracles: From One Goal to Five Wells
We are overjoyed to share a wonderful story from Reunion Church. Their initial goal was bold but singular: raise funds for one water well to bless a church community suffering from unreliable water access. Yet, through passionate prayer, faithful giving, and God’s multiplying grace, they didn’t stop at one—they raised enough for five water wells!
This is more than a success—it’s a vivid demonstration that “God always does more than what we ask or imagine, when we have faith and take that first step for Him.” Each well now brings clean, life‑giving water to inhabitants—transforming lives, improving health, and opening hearts to the Gospel.
Let this story strengthen your heart: even small faith‑steps, when surrendered to God, yield unimaginable fruit.
5. How You Can Pray and Share This Message
Ways you can pray:
-
For the safety and boldness of our native missionaries facing increasing persecution.
-
For medical outreach teams to bring healing and the Gospel in flood-affected areas.
-
In celebration of the water‑well miracle, and for similar faith‑filled projects to arise.
Ways you can share:
-
Forward this letter to anyone with a heart to pray or partner—friends, small groups, churches, contacts moved by children, healthcare, or clean‑water missions.
-
Invite people to join in prayer, giving, or volunteer support.
-
Amplify this vision on social media, in newsletters, or at gatherings—wherever hearts are stirred to be part of what God’s doing.

Thank you, dear family, for walking with us—especially when the road is steep. Your faith, prayers, and support fuel the extraordinary ways God is advancing His Kingdom:
-
Against persecution, He brings boldness.
-
Where there’s thirst, He brings water—and multiplies our efforts.
-
Where there’s sickness, He brings healing through faithful hands and generous hearts.
Together, we press on—expecting more than we ask, because ours is a God of abundance, steadfast love, and transformational power.

With deep love and gratitude in Christ,
